Chandler Macleod are seeking Bi-Lingual Support Workers for an organisation based in the Northern Suburbs of Sydney. We are specifically seeking those who speak the languages spoken in Indonesia to service a client base specific to this region.
The responsibilities of the role include:
- Providing care and assistance to the elderly
- Helping the elderly in day to day activities of clients (grocery shopping, doctors appointments, banking etc)
- Ensuring patients are living in a safe environment free from harm and documenting any hazards
- Providing genuine care to those in need
The essentials criteria for this role include:
- A genuine desire and motivation to work within the Aged Care Sector and provide care to the elderly
- The ability to speak Indonesian and build rapport with the elderly
- Some prior experience in Aged Care, specifically exposure to dementia
- Ability to work within the Aged Care sector (pass medical and police check)
Roles will commence on a casual basis and potentially be made permanent depending on the individual and ability to build rapport with the clients. Own transport may be required for the role for in home visits.
This is an ideal opportunity for those looking to enter the Aged Care Sector and roles may be located in the Northern Sydney Region.
